Argos Scientific Africa now part of Skyside
Dear Valued Associate,
We are delighted to announce that, effective 1 January 2026, Skyside has acquired Argos Scientific Africa, a Cape Town-based specialist air quality monitoring firm.
This strategic move marks a significant step forward in our commitment to advancing environmental monitoring and delivering enhanced solutions across South Africa.
As part of this exciting acquisition, we are pleased to welcome two senior scientists from Argos Scientific Africa, Mark Wicking-Baird and Grant Ravenscroft, to the Skyside team. Mark Wicking-Baird will be joining the Skyside Board, and both he and Grant will play pivotal roles in expanding our expertise and service offerings.

We are confident that these enhancements will enable us to serve our customers with even greater efficiency and innovation.
Please join us in wishing Mark and Grant every success in their new roles at Skyside. We look forward to a bright future together and to continuing our partnership with you.
Best regards,
Skyside
